I came upon a super find of this VERY FINE machine washable and dryable MERINO
yarn. A local yarn shop closed and the owner sold me the ENTIRE lot of her
MERINO worsted weight wool. The deal was I had to take the ENTIRE lot. She sold
it to me for an extremely reduced price and I’m passing that on to you. The
yarn ALONE would cost the same amount as I’m selling these sweaters for. When
this yarn is gone that will be the end of them as I will never get a deal like
this again. This yarn is BEAUTIFUL. So soft. Not scratchy like most wool. And
can be machine washed and dried at low temperature. I would recommend using a
lingerie bag when machine washing and drying so it won’t get snagged on
anything in washer. I will include a lingerie bag with each order for FREE

I will be storing these merino wool sweaters in a tote with cedar blocks. I
live in FLORIDA and I’m sure the moths would love to munch on these beautiful
sweaters. I chose NOT to use moth balls as the chemicals would not be good for
a baby but they may have a scent if cedar on them when they arrive. Please air
out before using (or wash them).

I have been making these unique zip up the back hooded babysweaters for over
30 years. They make a wonderful shower or new baby gift. Guaranteed there won't
be 2 of them given!

This sweater is made from Merino 100% Wool yarn that is machine washable cold
and tumble dry low. I also use quality nylon self healing zippers.

To dress baby in one of these you unzip the back. Put arms into sleeves, put
hood over head and zip them in. Great in warmer climates. They are all you need
for those Cooler days. In colder climates if you warm the car this sweater is
all you need. They aren't bulky under the carseat straps and a blanket over the
carseat keeps them snugly. Also great weight for a stroll in the carriage.

This sweater color is black and yellow stripes. Made from 100% Merino wool
yarn.

The Merino Yarn come from specifically bred sheep. Their yarn is HIGH quality
and extremely soft. This yarn is expensive to purchase hence the increase in
price from similar acrylic sweaters, 100% wool yarn is usually Found in solid
colors. There is not the choices in colors that I have with my acrylic yarn.
This sweater was made for the person that appreciates the quality of high end
fibers. I am experimenting with natural fibers in my baby sweaters. Lease check
them out. I am offering 100% cotton, cotton blends (the 50/50 cotton/bamboo is
very soft) There has been a call for it in the past and I am looking forward to
doing business with you.

I have made the cotton sweaters in the smaller sizes thinking that by the time
the infant is older natural fibers will not be that important.

I have quite a bit of this MERINO yarn. I will post a photo of colors
available in the listings and am willing to knit to order. Keep in mind that
when it’s gone it’s gone as this was a close out from the yarn shop. I have
quite a bit of 3 shades of blue, light pink, a light ivory, coral, and a
heather gray. There is a limited amount of Royal blue and Kelly Green. I have
several listings that are available for immediate sale showing them in solid
colors, wide and narrower stripes, and some with the raised ridge in them like
my acrylic sweaters. I will knit to order so please message me so we can work
in your special order. The natural fibers do not take the dye like the acrylics
so many of the colors are not as vibrant as the acrylics and the wool is
available in only solid colors.

I am willing to knit to order in this yarn. Larger sizes will of course cost
more due to the need for more yarn to make a larger sweater. A smaller size
sweater can usually be completed within a week. Larger sizes a little longer.
If I have more than one custom order I will let you know and give you an
approximate time.
